MichiganView maintains access to downloadable remote sensing datasets in a variety of formats.

Data from Landsat 5 is available for a variety of dates from 1987-2007. Data from Landsat 7 is available for a variety of dates from 1999-2002. These images can be downloaded as .zip files containing individual-band geotiffs or 4-band geotiffs.

National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) images from 2005 are available by county, and most counties also have coverage from 2006. The downloadable .zip files contain the county mosaic in MrSID format, metadata, and a shapefile detailing the dates on which the quarter-quads used to make the mosaic were photographed.

A small variety of miscellaneous datasets is also available.
